SPORT, MUSIC & THE ARTS
We believe that learning takes place both inside and outsidethe classroom and to this end, we provide pupils with a wide ranging choice of extra-curricular activities. After all, lessons in life take place everywhere! So, whether they are in the classroom or on the sports field our pupils are taught to accept victory and defeat with grace, to respect themselves and to value the needs and opinions of others.
Sport
Sport is an extremely important part of life at Kennedy House and we encourage our students to participate in a wide range of sports throughout the year. We are a very active school which believes in the importance of playing competative sports and learning the value of fair play and good sportsmanship. Kennedy House sports teams regularly travel to other schools to play fixtures and tournaments and there is nothing we like more than hosting our own sports events and giving other schools and families the opportunity to experience our fantastic school grounds and facilities. We enjoy a wide range of sporting activites at Kennedy House, including - but not limited to:

Music
We are lucky enough to have a dedicated music room which is positively bursting with instruments, including a state-of-the-art piano, guitars and a selection of African drums. The school has its own choir and private tuition is available in piano, guitar, drumming and singing.
Swimming
Kennedy House has possibly the finest swimming pool for miles around. Recently completed, it is of recognised competition standard and serves as the centre-piece of our annual inter-school swimming gala. Children have class swimming lessons once a week and we have a very active swimming team that trains and competes year-round.
Drama
It is nearly Christmas time! What better way than to celebrate with a pantomime. This promises to be the event of the year!
Performing Arts
Inside every child (and some teachers!) is a performer waiting for their moment on the stage. At Kennedy House we believe in giving every student the opportunity to express themselves. Our termly school plays are somthing of a local event attended by parents and members of the local community and are a wonderful way for the children to cap off each term. In addition to our drama performances, the children are offered ballet lessons and the opportunity to achieve awards in public speaking from the London Academy of Music and the Dramatic Arts.
Field Trips
We are fortunate enough to be situated in an area of stunning natural beauty and scientific interest. It is our belief that children can learn ust as much outside of the classroom as inside and as such, field trips are an essential part of the education we provide at Kennedy House. Recent trips have included a summiting of Mt. Meru, visits to Maasai villages, national parks and local farms and musems.
