At Kennedy House, we know that learning extends beyond the classroom. That's why we offer a diverse selection of extra-curricular activities, ensuring our students benefit from experiences everywhere! Whether they are in the classroom or on the sports field, pupils are taught to handle both victory and defeat with dignity, while respecting themselves and valuing the perspectives of others.
Sport
Sport is a fundamental aspect of life at Kennedy House, and we actively promote participation in a wide range of sports throughout the year. As a dynamic and engaged school, we recognize the significance of competitive sports and the principles of fair play and good sportsmanship.
Our teams regularly compete against other schools, and we take pride in hosting our own events, allowing other schools and families to experience our exceptional grounds and facilities. At Kennedy House, we offer a robust selection of sporting activities, including but not limited to:

We are lucky enough to have a dedicated music room which is positively bursting with instruments, including a state-of-the-art piano, guitars and a selection of African drums.
The school has its own choir and private tuition is available in piano, guitar, drumming and singing.
Swimming
Kennedy House has possibly the finest swimming pool for miles around. It is a recognised competition standard and serves as the centre-piece of our annual inter-school swimming gala. Children have class swimming lessons once a week and we have a very active swimming team that trains and competes year-round.
Performing Arts
Inside every child (and some teachers!) is a performer waiting for their moment on the stage. At Kennedy House we believe in giving every student the opportunity to express themselves. Our termly school plays are somthing of a local event attended by parents and members of the local community and are a wonderful way for the children to cap off each term. In addition to our drama performances, the children are offered ballet lessons and the opportunity to achieve awards in public speaking from the London Academy of Music and the Dramatic Arts.
Field Trips
We are fortunate enough to be situated in an area of stunning natural beauty and scientific interest. It is our belief that children can learn ust as much outside of the classroom as inside and as such, field trips are an essential part of the education we provide at Kennedy House. Recent trips have included a summiting of Mt. Meru, visits to Maasai villages, national parks and local farms and musems.
