Briefly describe your career (teaching or otherwise) to date.

I’ve been teaching for five years now, at two different schools in the UK. I’ve taught maths, statistics, and history to children aged 10 all the way to 18. After half a decade in the UK I decided to seek out new challenges teaching overseas.

Why did you choose teaching as a career and what do you try to instil in your pupils?

I’ve always enjoyed working with young people, they challenge me to develop as a teacher just as much as I challenge them. In my classes I try and encourage an environment of fearless curiosity; don’t be afraid to make mistakes when trying.

In your opinion, what makes Kennedy House special?

It’s a family style approach, everyone is so friendly and the parents are as much a part of the school community a their children.

Tell us something that not a lot of people know about you.

I’m a pretty good funambulist.
