Where have you worked before joining Kennedy House?

I was fresh from University of Tumaini and have experience in teaching from teaching practice in two secondary schools. I also spent 3 months volunteering at Kyamboga University in Uganda.

Why did you choose teaching as a career and what do you try to instill in your pupils?

The reasons why I choose teaching as my career is because through teaching I can inspire a child to love learning second language and able to use it when needed. I try to instill a love for learning, good manners and effective oral and written communication.

Apart from your teaching role, what else do you get involved with at the school?

Apart from teaching I also have excellent organizational skills so I spend time in the library organsing this. I love to design and put things in good order. I also love to do exercise that I’m doing.

In your opinion, what makes Kennedy House special?

What makes Kennedy House special are the incredible students, parents and staff who bring it to life each day. Their energy, love, and passion are infectious and I am so grateful for all they do to make the learning environment smooth.

Who or what inspires you?

Who inspires me to become a teacher: my sisters. The love and joy to speak English and teach people literature. Dedicated colleagues.

Tell us something that not a lot of people know about you.

I love dancing and singing and I was once a part of a church choir.
