Kennedy House International School is situated on the outskirts of Usa River, 20km from Arusha and 60km from Moshi. Mount Kilimanjaro International Airport is a 30 minute drive from the school.

Usa River is an ideal location for families. The town is home to a broad and supportive community from around the world, with a healthy social life and regular community events.

The convenience of supermarkets, banks and restaurants, along with regular local and farmers’ markets, makes day-to-day living very straight forward. The close proximity to the new shops in Arusha provides an easy solution for those larger items, or as a day out to include a trip to the cinema or some of Arusha’s other attractions.

Mount Meru and Arusha National Park are on your doorstep, whilst the other National Parks on the Northern Tanzanian circuit are easily accessible for weekend trips. When cloud cover allows, Mount Kilimanjaro is in full view to tempt those wishing to conquer it.

There is plenty of sport, with regular groups meeting for aerobics, running, yoga, keep-fit, hockey, cricket, football, squash and polo. There are also plenty of opportunities for golf at the stunning  Kilimanjaro Golf Course.
